I read the blog several times a week and post what some would consider to be short responses, but generative posts are a little harder for me. I'm learning more about how I view what I do, and it's odd that I think about things a lot but don't talk that much about them. It gives me pause that I think so much but don't feel confident enough to share. . . everyone else in the room seems so much more accomplished than me. Baring my soul here a bit, but it's supposed to be good for you.

It might be interesting. Books like Freakenomics and Coming Apart (a recent blog entry) have interesting perspectives about learning. I just finished The Richer Sex, another of Dr. Muth's finds. It's more of a societal view of women in the workplace, but does go into how women live their lives as breadwomen (her word) and how their education might play into it.
DeleteJoyce -I echo Susan's note...your writing block is everyone's struggle. You are just a bit more open about it. And that helps us all. Thank you for being a great role model and "positioning" yourself so transparently. :)
